In order to complete our "Saphir" department, we are looking for a:

Control Operator (M/F)

Missions :

• Perform the aesthetic, visual, and dimensional control of watchmaking components according to defined quality criteria, in order to guarantee the conformity of parts delivered to internal and external customers, in compliance with the standards, procedures, and requirements of the sector.

Responsibilities :

• Perform the aesthetic control of parts (material defects, surface defects, homogeneity) according to internal and/or customer criteria;
• Use visual or technical control means (loupe, binocular, lighting, gauges, simple measuring instruments);
• Identify, sort, and classify conforming, doubtful, or non-conforming parts, according to quality instructions;
• Complete traceability and control documents (OF, sorting sheets, non-conformity declarations);
• Immediately report any quality drift or anomaly detected in production;
• Guarantee the maintenance, storage, and cleanliness of the control equipment and the workstation;
• Respect safety requirements, quality procedures, and 5S standards;
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve the detection, understanding, and prevention of defects;
• Participate, if necessary, in supporting new employees in learning aesthetic criteria and control methods.

Profile:

• Basic training or experience in a production or quality control environment;
• Proven experience in watchmaking inspection or aesthetic control, a strong asset;
• Mastery of aesthetic control methods;
• Good understanding of sorting criteria (conforming, doubtful, scrap);
• Use of control equipment (loupe, binocular, gauge, adapted lighting, etc.);
• Reading and respecting control instructions and quality documents;
• Ability to detect fine and repetitive defects with consistency;
• Great meticulousness and concentration;
• Rigor and objectivity in decision-making;
• Patience and consistency in repetitive tasks;
• Reliability, autonomy, and strict respect for instructions;
• Team spirit and clear communication with production and quality.
