The Service de l'inclusion et des actions sociales de proximité offers to the Head of Street Social Intervention Unit (80% to 100%) The Service de l'inclusion et des actions sociales de proximité offers the Lausanne population a set of municipal aid services, among which the addiction system is included. In order to strengthen the addiction system, we are looking for a head of unit at 80%-100% whose mission will be to lead the street social team, while also carrying out the same missions as the team, namely reaching out to people in situations of consumption in order to reduce socio-sanitary risks by delivering prevention and harm reduction messages and by directing the target population toward existing services. Main mission(s) Lead the street social intervention team Go out to meet people in situations of consumption, establish a link, and direct them within the socio-sanitary system Participate in the reduction of socio-sanitary risks by raising awareness among the target population and by collaborating with all network partners (security, health, social) Participate in the reduction of nuisances in public spaces via a strict posture, inform about the necessity of using secure consumption spaces, the importance of living together, and individual responsibility Ensure the link with the population and businesses Participate in reflections on the optimization of work and processes Profile Bachelor HES in Social Work, human sciences, or nursing, or a title deemed equivalent Training in team leadership, required Additional training in the field of communication and conflict management as well as in mediation Minimum 3 years of professional experience in leading a team or project Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the field of addictions, extreme precariousness, and/or social work Knowledge of the Lausanne socio-sanitary system Very good ability to make contact with people from diverse backgrounds and difficult conditions as well as to manage tension situations Easy contact, composure, maturity, team spirit, leadership Good mastery of MS Office 365 tools Excellent mastery of French, knowledge of another language is an asset Special conditions Irregular hours Clean criminal records (ordinary and special) Planned work from Monday to Saturday Schedule flexibility (ability to work early in the morning, in the evening, on weekends and public holidays), according to the needs of the service Wearing of the uniform required for the position (provided by the employer) Outdoor work Place of work Place Chauderon 7, 1003 Lausanne Salary class 10 Start date Immediately or to be agreed Information M.
