Through training sessions and personal consultations, you support students and staff in finding, evaluating, and using information competently. Information Specialist: University Library Wädenswil 80 % Department: Finanzen & Services Start of work: 1. December 2026 or by arrangement Tasks * You coordinate the user services of the Hochschulbibliothek Wädenswil and assist at the information desk. * In the <<Dritter Ort>> team, you develop offers and formats that strengthen the library as a lively place for learning, meeting, and staying. * As part of the training team, you convey information literacy in curricular training and courses and advise students as well as staff of the Departement Life Sciences & Facility Management on research questions. * You lead or accompany projects for the further development of the services and offers of the Hochschulbibliothek. Profile * You have a completed university degree (Bachelor/Master or comparable) in the field of information and documentation. * You have experience in the conception and implementation of events for conveying information literacy as well as strong didactic skills. * You enjoy developing and implementing offers and event formats for different target groups. * You work confidently with library management systems and ideally bring experience with Alma. * You are proficient in German and English in spoken and written form and are able to advise and teach in both languages. * You enjoy working in a team, take responsibility, and advance topics with a solution-oriented and networked way of working. In the Standortbibliothek Wädenswil, a small, dedicated on-site team works closely with the specialist departments of the Hochschulbibliothek. With its services and offers in the areas of information supply, information literacy, and the design of a needs-oriented learning, working, and meeting place, the Standortbibliothek contributes to the daily study, teaching, and research life of the Departement Life Sciences and Facility Management.
