An independent and family-owned manufacturer, Jean Singer & Cie SA has been manufacturing high-quality dials for the greatest Swiss watchmaking brands for more than a century.

In order to complete our teams, in our building in Boudry, we are looking for a:

Quality Agent

The Quality Agent is responsible for driving the processing of non-conformities and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes. In collaboration with the production, technical, and logistics teams, they coordinate analyses, lead problem-solving approaches, and ensure the implementation of sustainable solutions guaranteeing the conformity of our products to the requirements of our customers.

Job description:

• Process technical and aesthetic non-conformities in collaboration with the various departments of the manufacture.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement approaches in order to strengthen quality performance.
• Lead problem resolutions and contribute to the deployment of quality standards among the teams.

Your tasks:

• Quality control and analysis: Perform technical and aesthetic analyses, use suitable measuring means (VideoCAD, QMT, OGP, spectrophotometer, etc.) and exploit the results in order to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Management of non-conformities: Identify defects, open and follow non-conformity files, coordinate the various stakeholders, and ensure the management of non-quality events with internal and external customers.
• Continuous improvement: Implement curative, corrective, and preventive actions, lead problem-solving sessions (5 Whys, A3, RDP, etc.) and contribute to the sustainable improvement of processes.
• Animation of the quality system: Participate in the formalization of quality standards, support teams in their application, ensure the dissemination of best practices, and capitalize on feedback.

Your profile:

• Training and knowledge: Training and knowledge: CFC as a laboratory technician, micromechanic, polymechanic or ES diploma, with confirmed experience in watchmaking quality control. Complementary training in metrology or quality assurance is an asset. Good mastery of reading plans, GPS dimensioning, dimensional and aesthetic control methods as well as quality tools and control statistics.
• Technical skills: Mastery of measuring means (OGP, QMT, VideoCAD, spectrophotometer), QuickControl, SCREEN, Strategic and MS Office software. Good knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, metrology, and watchmaking manufacturing processes.
• Personal qualities: Rigorous, methodical, and endowed with an excellent sense of analysis, you demonstrate autonomy, a good team spirit, and constructive communication. Solution-oriented, you know how to unite the different actors around quality objectives and accompany change with pragmatism.
