Project Engineer (m/f/d)

Innovative products, customer-specific solutions, as well as a powerful service and support organization have made SKAN a market leader and an important partner for industry and research laboratories.     At a glance   As a Project Engineer, you will take on technical responsibility for customer-specific isolator projects - from preliminary clarification to commissioning. You will independently coordinate the technical interfaces, develop process-reliable solutions in a regulated environment, and work closely with customers, partners, and internal specialist departments. Your understanding of complex plant processes as well as your sense for quality, deadlines, and costs contribute significantly to the project success. An exciting environment with plenty of creative freedom and international cooperation awaits you.     Tasks   • Process responsibility for isolator-relevant functions • Leadership and ensuring of general technical project coordination • Engineering execution and process responsibility • Design / calculation and definition of main components including the main components list • Development and definition of the required plant processes • Creation of project-specific specifications and design documents such as the P&ID (Piping & Instrument Diagram) • Active participation in regular meetings with the customer & partner companies • Technical preparation and, as required, technical leadership of customer and partner meetings in-house as well as externally at customers or partners worldwide • Assessment, monitoring, and compliance with budget, deadlines, and the quality of the Project Engineering Scope • Confident handling of suppliers, partners, and customers from the entire SKAN business field • Implementation of requirements from customers and authorities (GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice as well as MRL - Maschinenrichtlinie / MVO - Maschinenverordnung) • Willingness for worldwide travel (approx. 10%)     Hardskills   • Knowledge in process and procedural technology (optimally in isolator technology for the pharmaceutical industry) • Experience in project management (scheduling, resource management) • Engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or completed training as a technician (HLS - heating ventilation sanitary) • Business fluent English and German skills     Softskills   • Basic communication skills both internally and externally (with customers and partners) • Ability to express oneself clearly and precisely in a technical environment • Proactive teamwork and open exchange of information • Reliability in performing tasks and the ability to adhere to specified schedules • Willingness to take responsibility and pursue tasks consistently • Good handling of variable constraints and conflicts of interest       We offer   • An open and collegial corporate culture • Freedom for ideas • Participation in sports and leisure activities • Support through further training, especially at our SKAN Academy • Intensive and job-oriented induction • Short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies • Open communication policy • 5 weeks of vacation and the possibility for additional vacation days     Further information     We look forward to receiving your complete application documents (CV, diplomas, and work certificates), which you can submit directly via our career page.
