Cost Estimator Engineer / Civil Engineering Estimator

You develop cost studies and calculations for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, from the analysis of tenders to the transmission to the execution teams.

Tasks

• Perform cost studies and cost calculations for civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Analyze tender documents, specifications, and execution plans
• Detect inconsistencies, identify opportunities, and anticipate risks
• Develop technical dossiers, schedules, and execution methodologies for bids
• Launch and coordinate consultations with subcontractors and suppliers
• Participate in clarification meetings, pre-adjudication, and technical negotiations
• Ensure the transmission of won dossiers to the execution teams

Profile

• Training as a civil engineer, project manager, site manager, or civil engineering draftsman (an asset)
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in cost estimation in civil engineering
• Good knowledge of CAN, CFC, and SIA standards/phases
• Proficiency in IT tools and industry software such as SAP, Baubit, Abacus
• Proven experience in the French-speaking Swiss market
• Ability to analyze complex issues and propose pragmatic solutions
