Your role You lead the HSE, Quality Management and Laboratory areas with a total of 18 employees (4 Direct Reports) and are responsible for overall quality, occupational safety, health protection and environment. Your mission: critically question existing HSEQ structures, identify potential for improvement and define a clear roadmap for further development together with the CEO. In doing so, you strengthen the safety and quality culture in the company and develop it further in a targeted manner. Based on ISO 9001, you are responsible for creating an integrated management system and introducing certifications according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Head of HSEQ What you can achieve with us Technical, organizational and administrative management of HSE, Quality Management and Laboratory areas Further development of teams and promotion of a performance-oriented, partnership-based cooperation with all areas Coaching, empowerment and motivation of employees Building and expanding a modern HSEQ culture throughout the company Quality Management Overall responsibility for the quality management system according to ISO 9001 Ensuring successful re-certifications Creation of Management Reviews and relevant reports Definition, monitoring and further development of quality goals Responsibility for quality assurance and production releases in cooperation with the laboratory, including pharmaceutical certifications Conducting internal audits and accompanying external audits and authority inspections Health, Safety & Environment Overall management of occupational safety, health protection and environmental issues Coordination of appointments (SiBe, fire safety officer, etc.) Building and further developing an effective safety management system Establishing safety inspections, safety standards and preventive measures Organization and monitoring of all legally required training and documentation in the HSEQ area Responsibility for hazardous substance and chemical management Contact person for authorities, cantonal offices and external partners Development and implementation of concepts for accident prevention and health promotion Creation and maintenance of emergency and evacuation concepts (fire, chemical accident, flood, evacuation) Further development of operational traffic routes, logistics and security concepts on the company premises (Physical Site Security) Promotion of environmental protection, sustainability and resource efficiency programs Strategy and project management Analysis of existing HSEQ processes in terms of effectiveness and lived practice Identification of optimization and development potential Definition of concrete and prioritized measures together with the CEO Management of cross-departmental projects for the further development of HSEQ-relevant organization Building an integrated management system according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Ensuring the sustainable anchoring of HSEQ topics in operational everyday life Your qualities as a specialist and person Technical or natural science degree with corresponding further education in the areas of HSEQ, quality management and occupational safety Several years of proven successful leadership experience in a comparable senior function In-depth knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and ideally ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (conducting internal and external audits) Experience in regulated food/pharma industry or production environment (HACCP, GMP) Very good project management and conceptual skills High leadership and social competence as well as pronounced persuasive and assertive power Communicative, open team player with coaching mentality and natural standing on all hierarchy levels Entrepreneurial thinking and pragmatic implementation strength.
