Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Introduction

For an internationally active company in mechanical and plant engineering for innovative packaging solutions, we are looking for a Service Engineer or Service Technician (m/f/d) for the electromechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and commissioning of sophisticated high-tech systems. The place of work is in an industrial environment with a strong international focus and occasional worldwide travel activities. We are looking for a technically proficient personality with a structured way of working, a confident manner in customer contact, and the ability to professionally install, maintain, and successfully complete acceptance tests of machines and systems together with the customer. The working environment is characterized by responsibility, teamwork, and a high technical quality standard. The focus is on precise execution, international cooperation, and professional support of test runs, factory acceptances, and customer commissioning on site.

Tasks

• You will undertake the electromechanical assembly as well as the precise electrical wiring of modern high-tech systems.
• You will install and maintain machines professionally, working with technical know-how and high attention to detail.
• You will accompany test runs as well as factory acceptances of the systems in close cooperation with customers.
• You will commission systems worldwide at the customer's site and accompany the machines until the final acceptance on site.
• You will train customer personnel and convey the safe handling of the installed systems.
• You are prepared for international assignments, which can account for around 50 percent of your working time.

Profile

• You have completed mechanical training, for example as a Polymechaniker, or have a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you bring electrotechnical knowledge and thus complement your technical profile.
• You work analytically, goal-oriented, and find viable solutions even for complex tasks.
• You have very good written and spoken English skills for secure communication in the international environment.
• Other languages are an advantage and support cooperation with international contact persons.
• You are characterized by customer orientation, sense of responsibility, and organizational skills.
• You see international travel as a meaningful addition and a professional challenge.
