Sterilization Technician M/F To thrive and succeed in this essential role, you: Demonstrate rigor, organization, and method, while carefully respecting hygiene and safety protocols. Have the necessary autonomy to manage your missions, while enjoying teamwork, in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support. Ideally, you possess experience in a hospital environment or in the operating room, a real plus for this position. Hold an initial training: STE1 or CFC TDM will be a major asset and valued by the establishment. Have a good command of the French language, to exchange easily with teams and understand procedures. Have good physical condition, allowing you to remain standing and active all day, while carrying out your missions with efficiency. Are available from 7am in the morning and some evenings for occasional needs. Accept to work according to the provided day schedule, flexible and organized to meet the needs of the service. Can provide a clean criminal record of less than 3 months as well as an up-to-date immunity certificate. Are a Swiss citizen or resident in Switzerland, holder of a valid B or C permit (mandatory). More than your skills, we are primarily looking for a motivated, benevolent person concerned with the quality of care, who will take pleasure in contributing to the well-being of patients and the proper functioning of the establishment every day. Your missions are varied and indispensable: from the preparation to the distribution of medical devices, you contribute directly to the quality of care. Before sterilization: Receive and sort medical devices from different services, ensuring their quality and safety. Clean and disinfect instruments carefully, applying protocols to protect patients and teams. Verify cleanliness and prepare material to be sterilized, by packaging and identifying each batch with precision. During sterilization: Load and unload autoclaves, ensuring compliance with cycles and the quality of each operation. Monitor machine parameters and control the sterility of the material, guaranteeing a safe environment for care. After sterilization: Organize and store sterile devices so they are easily accessible to the care teams. Ensure complete traceability of all operations, for maximum security and impeccable follow-up. Distribute material to services according to their needs, contributing directly to the quality of care and the well-being of patients.
