Senior Accountant

Our client, an international company based in Genève, is looking for a Senior Accountant M/F Our client, an international company based in Genève, is looking for an experienced professional capable of autonomously managing the complete accounting of an entity and driving closings in a demanding international environment. This position is not suitable for an assistant accountant or junior accountant profile. Proven experience in general accounting and closings is indispensable. Senior Accountant M/F Federal diploma in finance and accounting, Chartered Accountant diploma or equivalent training. Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in general accounting, including significant experience in Switzerland (mandatory). Experience in an international, industrial or multi-entity environment. Excellent mastery of accounting standards, closings and financial controls. Ability to work autonomously and meet demanding deadlines. Fluent French and a good level of English. Mastery of an ERP; knowledge of ProConcept is an asset. Ensure the complete accounting responsibility of a group entity. Produce monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Guarantee the reliability of financial statements and accounting entries. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses. Prepare VAT declarations and ensure follow-up of tax obligations. Manage fixed assets. Participate in internal and external audits. Collaborate with the Finance teams of the various subsidiaries.
