This is exactly where we work at AFC.

We accompany some of the most demanding construction projects in Switzerland and develop fire protection solutions for new buildings, conversions, and complex existing buildings. In doing so, we combine classic fire protection planning with engineering proofs, simulations, quality assurance, and integral tests.

For our fire protection team, we are looking for personalities who want to take on responsibility and develop professionally.

Whether you are already a fire protection expert or fire protection specialist, or whether you want to enter fire protection as an architect or engineer: what is decisive for us is your technical understanding, your motivation, and your will to develop good solutions.

What you can achieve with us

• You work on demanding fire protection projects from the first idea to commissioning.
• Depending on your experience and level of training, you will gradually take on more responsibility:
• You develop fire protection concepts for new builds and conversions and, together with clients, architects, and specialist planners, look for practicable and economical solutions.
• You advise our clients and represent projects towards authorities and other project participants.
• You process questions regarding structural, technical, and organizational fire protection.
• You accompany projects through planning and realization, carry out quality controls on construction sites, and support acceptances and commissioning.

With growing experience, you will manage your projects independently and be responsible for quality, deadlines, and costs. If you are interested in engineering-based fire protection, you can also deal in depth with performance- and risk-based proofs, smoke extraction, evacuation, simulations, fire case controls, or integral tests at AFC.

You already have extensive experience and want to lead demanding projects independently. At AFC, you will get the space to take on complex tasks, advise clients, and contribute and further develop your professional experience in a strong fire protection team.

You are a VKF fire protection specialist

You want to take the next step and increasingly be responsible for larger and more complex projects. We will support you professionally and organizationally on your further path – if interested, up to the qualification as a fire protection expert.

You come from architecture or engineering

You have a completed degree in architecture, civil engineering, timber construction, HVAC, building technology, or a comparable technical field and want to reorient yourself professionally?

Then you are expressly welcome.

You do not have to be a fire protection professional yet. What we expect is a solid understanding of buildings and technology, analytical thinking, and high motivation to work intensively in fire protection.
