Civil Engineer / Structures M/F/D

As part of strengthening a technical team working on complex industrial projects, we are looking for a Civil Engineer / Structures M/F for a mission of 3 to 6 months.

You will intervene in various civil engineering studies, in preliminary and execution phases, with a role primarily oriented towards the dimensioning, verification, and diagnosis of structures.

Responsibilities

Dimensioning reinforced concrete structures: foundations, rafts, industrial slabs, blocks, and associated works;

Dimensioning metal structures: industrial building frameworks and support structures for equipment or installations;

Verifying existing structures and evaluating the load-bearing capacity of floors and structural elements;

Producing calculation notes in accordance with Eurocodes and SIA standards;

Participating in the scanning and analysis of concrete structures in order to detect and locate reinforcement, networks, and integrated equipment;

Ensuring technical coordination with different interlocutors and disciplines: process, HVAC, electricity, etc.;

Participating in studies and projects related to VRD.

Profile

With a background as an Engineer in Civil Engineering, Structures or equivalent, you ideally have 5 to 10 years of experience in a design office or in an industrial/construction environment.

You possess solid skills in:

• Calculation and dimensioning of reinforced concrete structures;
• Calculation of metal structures;
• Diagnosis and verification of existing structures;
• Writing calculation notes;
• Application of Eurocodes and ideally SIA standards;
• Multidisciplinary technical coordination.

IT Skills

Proficiency in Robot Structural Analysis and/or SIA Engineer is sought.

Knowledge of CUBUS constitutes an advantage.

You also master, ideally:

• AutoCAD;
• Revit for the opening and visualization of models;
• An IFC viewer.

Experience with reinforcement scanning equipment, notably StructureScan Mini XT (GSSI) or equivalent, is a plus.

French: advanced level

English: intermediate level
