For our client, an internationally active corporate group based in the Schaffhausen region, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented and open personality on a temporary basis until the end of July 2027, starting immediately or by arrangement as an

Accountant 100% (a) temporary, Schaffhausen

Your tasks:

• Management and posting of the cash desk
• Posting and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Independent management of accounts receivable
• Independent management of accounts payable
• Posting and monitoring of loans and interest
• Posting of payroll accounting
• Processing and posting of intercompany transactions
• Preparation of VAT returns as well as performing the annual VAT reconciliation
• Preparation and evaluation of margin analyses
• Calculation, checking and posting of commission statements in the commercial sector
• Collaboration on monthly and annual financial statements

Your profile:

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment
• Further training in finance and accounting, e.g., as an accounting clerk or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of financial accounting and experience with monthly and annual financial statements
• Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel, SAP Business One or ABACUS
• Knowledge of consolidation programs such as LucaNet or Hyperion is a plus
• Good German skills and good English skills
• Independent, reliable and careful way of working
• Rapid comprehension as well as analytical and networked thinking
• Motivated, team-oriented and open personality
