This is what you can achieve. • You will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and upkeep of safety systems, ensuring a safe and punctual rail service. • In doing so, you will ensure the commissioning and decommissioning of electronic control systems and relay control systems. • With your systematic approach, you will identify irregularities and defects, report them, and drive their resolution and improvement forward in the team. • In the Sargans area, you will be working at various locations, both indoors and outdoors, and will experience a varied working day. • You will complete a two-year internal training program to become a safety systems technician and learn to locate and rectify faults in internal systems independently. • In the on-call service, you will independently locate and rectify faults in safety systems. This is what you bring. • You enjoy working in a team, take responsibility, and communicate clearly and in a solution-oriented manner. • Safety is a priority for you, and you approach tasks systematically to solve problems in a structured way. • You have completed basic training with an EFZ in an electrical trade such as automation, electromechanics, or electrical installation, or have equivalent qualifications. • For shift work, you bring the necessary endurance. You are attentive, concentrated, and physically resilient to successfully cope with this demanding work in 24-hour shift operations. Additionally, you enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. • So that you can perform on-call duty, you hold a category B driver's license. You also bring German language skills at level B2 in word and writing.
