Monitoring & Alerting Engineer # (m/w/d) freelance/in temporary employment for a project Bern Start date: immediately Reference number: 885310/1 Tasks ### • Development of a holistic monitoring and alerting concept for an RZ infrastructure • Implementation and configuration of the monitoring solution based on Zabbix • Definition of threshold values, alarm logics and escalation processes • Setup of 7x24 monitoring for first-level support • Implementation of event, availability and capacity management • Evaluation of additional tools and extensions • Creation of architecture, process and operating documentation and handover to operations Profile ### • In-depth experience in setting up/operating monitoring and alerting solutions • In-depth knowledge of Zabbix (templates, triggers, dashboards, alerting) • Experience in monitoring network, firewall, server and storage environments • Good knowledge of ITSM processes (event, availability, capacity management) • Experience in setting up 7x24 operation and escalation models • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working • Very good German language skills; English language skills an advantage Benefits ### • Opportunity to significantly shape a holistic monitoring concept • Close exchange with experienced operational teams and high professional impact
