Social Media and Digital Communication Coordinator Mission The EPFL communication service, Mediacom, is looking for an experienced part-time (40-50%) social media and digital communication coordinator to strengthen its team. The social media and digital communication coordinator will contribute to developing and strengthening EPFL's presence on social media, by ensuring the dissemination and promotion of its content. He/she Participates in monitoring and tracking the School's online reputation and adapts content, formats, and tone to the specificities of each platform and its audiences, in compliance with the editorial strategy and the identity of EPFL. Main tasks and responsibilities * Contribute to the publication and promotion of EPFL content on social media, notably scientific and institutional news, portraits, and other editorial content * Ensure the adaptation and dissemination of audiovisual content on different platforms, notably through the writing of adapted texts and captions, the selection of visuals, and the creation of thumbnails for videos * Participate in the monitoring, moderation, and animation of EPFL's various platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Mastodon, X and Reddit), notably by responding to comments and private messages, identifying content or interactions of a sensitive nature, and following the publications of other entities within the School * Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of the performance of publications and platforms using key indicators (KPIs), and identify formats, subjects, and practices likely to improve the visibility and engagement of content * Participate in the editorial planning of social media and the coordination of publications with other members of the Mediacom team Profile * Excellent writing skills in French and English * Experience in digital communication and mastery of various social media platforms * Knowledge and mastery of graphic content creation tools * Interest in scientific, technological, and academic fields and the ability to make complex subjects accessible * Analytical spirit and creativity * Ability to identify, anticipate, and manage with discernment sensitive subjects or those likely to present a reputational risk * Sense of aesthetics and visual consistency of digital content * Good interpersonal skills and sense of teamwork We offer At EPFL, we are convinced that everyone can accomplish great things when they evolve in a benevolent, respectful, and conducive-to-success environment.
