aprentas is the training network for basic and further education for scientific, technical, and commercial professions. Residential homes and shared apartments managed by aprentas offer accommodation and care in Muttenz and Basel for non-local youths in training (apprentices and interns from home and abroad) aged 15 to 25 years. For our Living Team, we are looking for a dedicated personality as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement who enjoys contact with young apprentices, likes to address domestic topics in everyday life and maintains an organizational overview. Wohnbegleiter/in für Lernende und junge Erwachsene | 50% - 60% ## Your tasks • Accompany young adults/apprentices in everyday residential life with interest, openness, and an appreciative basic attitude. • Maintain personal contact with the apprentices consciously through everyday and domestic tasks. • Recognize domestic topics, address them clearly and supportively, and accompany the apprentices in their implementation. • Together with the apprentices, shape a well-kept, binding, and lively everyday residential life. • Reliably and proactively plan and coordinate processes, appointments, tasks, and activities in the residential setting. • Maintain an overview even with different concerns and bring structure to the daily life of the shared apartments. • Conduct individual conversations, organize group events, and use everyday situations as learning and development opportunities. • Work independently in a self-organized team and actively contribute your observations, ideas, and organizational skills. Your qualifications • Completed basic vocational training; experience in the social, pedagogical, domestic, or care sector is an advantage. • Strong enjoyment of contact with apprentices and young adults in vocational training. • Interest in not only performing domestic activities but understanding them as part of accompaniment and relationship building. • Organizational talent, reliability, and the ability to keep an eye on several tasks, appointments, and concerns at the same time. • Empathy, communication strength, humor, as well as enjoyment of a lively everyday life with youths and young adults. • Willingness to cooperate in a small, interdisciplinary, and self-organized team and to take on diverse tasks in the residential setting. • Good user knowledge of Office 365 as well as very good German and English skills. • Flexibility for work at two locations with flexitime and annual working hours, with working hours predominantly in the evening without night presence. • Willingness for 3 evening shifts, on-call service during the week at night, approx. every six weeks.
