Landscaper, Mason or Road Builder for the Cable Civil Engineering area

This is what you can move. • Your main task as a specialist technician in Cable Civil Engineering is the independent planning, installation and monitoring of cable routes and cable shafts, as well as the execution of cable pulls of all railway technical cables • You independently carry out repairs to shaft covers and renovation work on cable shafts, as well as fault rectifications on cable infrastructures and ensure their proper function is restored. You create the work planning, report the work carried out and record working hours as well as expenses • Furthermore, you operate instructed machines, apparatus and work equipment, carry out corresponding instructions and work as a safety officer to ensure professional and safe execution of the tasks. • As a specialist technician, you prepare work sites and provide materials for the assigned work or construction sites, where you also ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. • You take over the technical leadership of employees and third parties at the various work sites. • The function can also include night shifts and weekend work as well as special assignments in the event of a malfunction and winter service. This is what you bring with you. • Your high sense of responsibility and safety awareness enables you to familiarize yourself well and thoroughly with your new activity in the SBB environment. You look forward to performing work outdoors in every season. • Increased resilience, both physically and mentally. • An apprenticeship certificate (EFZ) as a landscaper or mason / road builder is required. Additionally, you bring the willingness to complete the foreman school. • To be able to perform the function, we require that the internal training to become a safety officer (if necessary, safety guard) is successfully completed. Night shifts or individual weekend shifts (not regular), malfunction cases and winter service are separately compensated with allowances in the form of time and money.  • Your place of residence is near your place of work. • You possess a driving license category B (with experience in manual transmission and Kat. BE is an advantage). Your language skills in German are at least at level A2.
