For our team, we are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d) who will reliably operate and continuously develop our global network and security infrastructure.

Your task ##

• Responsibility for the operation and further development of our international, Cisco-based network with a focus on high availability, optimal performance and scalability
• Administration, monitoring and maintenance of the Palo Alto Networks firewalls as well as ensuring secure and compliant configurations in all environments
• Processing and analysis of incidents and service requests as well as conducting root cause analyses
• Planning and implementation of corrective measures to resolve disruptions sustainably and efficiently
• Carrying out upgrades, changes and maintenance work on network and security systems
• Collaboration in international operational and infrastructure projects to improve network efficiency, security and automation

Your profile ##

• You have training or a degree in the field of computer science, network technology, telecommunications or a comparable qualification.
• You have sound experience in the operation and troubleshooting of Cisco networks.
• You have good knowledge of handling Palo Alto Networks firewalls and in the area of network security.
• You bring experience with incident, change and problem management.
• You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even in the case of complex disruptions.
• You are interested in automation, modern network technologies and continuous optimization.
• Good English skills are important due to our international environment.
• You enjoy working independently, are team-oriented and communicate clearly and professionally.
