Convinced that << each and every one can make a difference >>, the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève have founded an Innovation Center with the aim of improving and evolving the hospital. A unique platform for exchange, the Centre de l'innovation promotes collective intelligence by allowing the gathering, valuing, and concretizing of the best ideas from employees. Both a competence center and a collaborative workspace, the Centre de l'innovation offers a set of services to evaluate, support, mature, promote, and value the innovative ideas and projects of the employees and structures of the HUG. An experimentation laboratory, a catalyst for change and participatory approaches, the Centre de l'innovation contributes to the transformation of the HUG. Since 2019, it has supported the development of the HUG strategic plan: Vision 20+5. A pioneer at the European level in the hospital environment, the Centre de l'innovation has evolved the intrapreneurship model by weaving close links with the Patients partenaires (PP) project. This close collaboration with the PP platform has deployed its effects and benefits in the development of solutions close to the needs of patients. Since its launch, approximately 800 HUG employees participate in the events and sessions organized by the Centre de l'innovation each year. There are more than 70 innovative projects catalyzed per year. Innovation Specialist Engineer - 80% to 100% You are integrated into the HUG Centre de l'innovation. You play a key role in the emergence and development of innovative initiatives driven by HUG employees, by providing them with project management support. Through your action, you contribute to the development of the culture of innovation, creativity, and transformation within the institution. Your mission consists of creating favorable conditions for the emergence, maturation, and implementation of new products, services, or process improvements (applications, medical devices, tools, organizational solutions, etc.), by relying on collaborative and user-centered approaches. As such, you continuously stimulate the generation of ideas and accompany innovation projects from their conception to their implementation. You analyze problems, needs, and usages in order to define clear specifications integrating challenges, objectives, scopes, and deliverables. You contribute to the design of innovative solutions adapted to identified needs and support their realization through the creation of prototypes, models, digital plans, or user stories. More specifically, you challenge initial ideas and hypotheses with project leaders by evaluating their utility, desirability, feasibility, and viability, in order to orient initiatives toward high-impact solutions aligned with institutional priorities. In a logic of efficiency and sustainability, you promote the pooling of existing resources and projects, both internally and with external partners, by identifying synergies and limiting redundancies. You accompany innovators in the development of high-value-added solutions meeting the needs of users. You manage the different phases of projects, including ideation, formalization of functional and technical specifications, prototyping, validation of feasibility and acceptability, as well as preparation for implementation. You contribute to the technical structuring of projects in coordination with internal and external partners to guarantee their quality, feasibility, and sustainability. You facilitate interactions between stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration throughout the project life cycle. You also support project leaders in the search for funding and the enhancement of their initiatives, by contributing to the preparation of dossiers, their visibility, and their promotion to the relevant authorities and partners. In your practice, you develop a deep understanding of the organization's functioning, its networks, its practices, and its decision-making mechanisms. You analyze and map processes, information flows, and decision circuits in order to structure, document, and prioritize needs while taking into account business requirements and the institutional context. You pay particular attention to the promotion of innovation actors and contribute to the influence of this culture within the institution, notably by participating in the design and organization of events and communication actions such as the HUG Hackathon or the Innovation Day. You participate in the reflections and initiatives of the Centre de l'innovation related to the stimulation of innovation, the promotion of collective intelligence, community animation, communication, process modeling, and change management. You also ensure the documentation of the processes put in place and the capitalization of knowledge, notably through the organization of feedback sessions and the constitution of accessible knowledge bases allowing to support
