For our creative and innovative catering company based in Chur for the Rhätische Bahn and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, we are looking for a motivated and committed service employee without cash handling. For over 100 years, we have been passionate hosts and railway enthusiasts, pampering our guests at a high culinary level in the world-famous Glacier Express between St. Moritz and Zermatt or in the nostalgic dining car of the Rhätische Bahn. • Crew Member (m/w) with permanent employment • Start of position immediately or by arrangement (100%) • Tasks: sympathetic support & advice for our international guests, reliable recommendation of our offering, ensuring a smooth service process on the train including upselling & wine recommendations. Preparation of drinks. Preparation of the daily mise en place. À la carte food and beverage service. Support of the Crew Manager in all service areas. Ordering of drinks & non-food items. Completion of general tidying and cleaning work. Compliance with quality, hygiene and safety standards • Requirements: passionate and courteous hosting personality, completed vocational training or professional experience in the field of gastronomy, catering or tourism. Sales & organizational talent, very good German skills, good English skills, other languages an advantage. Reliable, flexible and resilient. High quality standards, quick comprehension, confident & well-groomed appearance, responsible and independent way of working. Willingness for regular overnight stays away from home.
