• 26 June 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Basel Expect exciting tasks: • Further develop the load management tool and optimize the forecasting as well as the management of hot water demand in Basel. • Develop data-based models and, if necessary, use machine learning methods to optimize and forecast energy installations. • Establish interfaces with internal and external data sources and ensure the reliable supply of energy data. • Guarantee high data quality and minimize security risks related to data management. Here is how you improve us: • Completed degree (FH, university or ETH) in computer science, data science, physics, energy engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field. • Good knowledge of Python and experience in the development, maintenance and evolution of data or forecasting applications. • Proficiency in SQL databases and Git. • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch) is an asset. • Knowledge in thermodynamics, energy engineering or related fields facilitates your integration.
