YOUR TASKS As a measurement technician, you ensure the quality of our high-precision CNC turning and milling parts through precise measurement and testing processes and actively shape our quality management. Measurement Technology • Programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines (e.g. Zeiss, Wenzel, Hexagon) • Creation and optimization of measurement programs • First-piece, intermediate, and final inspections • Measurement of complex CNC turning and milling parts • Creation and interpretation of measurement protocols • Conducting measurement system analyses (MSA) and capability studies (Cp/Cpk) Quality Management & Measuring Instruments • Management of all measuring instruments, organization of calibrations, and procurement of new measuring instruments • Evaluation of the suitability of new measurement methods • Maintenance and further development of test plans and measurement programs • Participation in internal audits and customer inspections (FAI, EMPB, PPAP) Production & Complaint Management • Support of CNC production in quality matters and advice on measurement strategies • Training of employees in the handling of measuring instruments • Support in internal and external complaints, creation of 8D reports • Conducting root cause analyses (5-Why, Ishikawa) and initiating corrective actions YOUR PROFILE Professional Requirements • Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ, or comparable technical training • Further training in the field of quality or measurement technology is an advantage • Experience in measurement technology for precision parts, ideally with Wenzel coordinate measuring machines • Very good knowledge of technical drawings and safe handling of form and position tolerances (GD&T / ISO GPS) • Experience with CAQ systems and statistical quality methods • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience in complaint handling Personal Strengths • High accuracy and pronounced quality awareness • Analytical thinking and independent, structured work • Communication skills and assertiveness towards production and suppliers • Teamwork and joy in continuous improvement WHAT WE OFFER • Diverse activities in a modern precision company with a wide range of industries • Modern machine park with automation, handling robots, and CAM systems • Clear development prospects: Senior Measurement Technician, Head of Measurement Technology, Quality Engineer, or Quality Manager • Well-rehearsed, collegial team with flat hierarchies • Two production sites – Nürensdorf ZH and Burgdorf BE • Targeted further training and promotion of your technical competence Interested?
