The Bergschule Avrona is a special school boarding school recognized by the Canton of Graubünden with 24 places. Average-ability children and adolescents who show special learning difficulties or behavioral abnormalities due to their life situation are cared for in 3 residential groups and taught in the internal school. In educational support, we orient ourselves towards the pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner.

We are looking for a social pedagogue 60%-80% immediately or by arrangement

This is your area of responsibility
Planning and structuring daily life with the children and adolescents in the residential group with irregular working hours (incl. weekend and night shifts)
Encouraging children and adolescents to engage in meaningful leisure activities
Organization and supervision of camp weeks
Participation in cross-group events (events, annual festivals, project work)
Creating development reports and support plans
Active key person work with parents, teachers, authorities
Organizing, conducting, documenting, and following up on placement meetings
Promoting and maintaining interdisciplinary cooperation

This is your profile
Diploma in social pedagogy or social work (FH/HF)
Experience in working with children and adolescents with special needs
Interest in anthroposophical pedagogy
You do not shy away from new daily challenges and you are good at motivating and inspiring children and adolescents.
You work in a solution- and resource-oriented manner, are responsible, communicative and reliable.
You have good PC user skills and can express yourself proficiently orally and in writing.
You hold a driving license Cat. B
