In the field of communication and media, the Polizei Kanton Solothurn informs the public about police events and the diverse tasks of the police, and strengthens the population's trust in the organization. For the Abteilung Polizeikommando, we are looking for a Communication Specialist with a focus on internal communication, 80-100%, at the Solothurn location, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your Responsibility

• You are responsible for internal communication and continuously manage and further develop the intranet; you also take over the editorial co-leadership of the employee magazine.
• The planning as well as the publication of target-group-oriented content for social media channels is part of your tasks, as is the implementation of structured content planning.
• You support the team in writing press releases, process and answer media inquiries competently, and ensure professional event communication as a spokesperson.
• You support the organization of media events, participate actively in projects, and coordinate cooperation with external partners and agencies on a project-related basis.
• The analysis of current topics, trends, and media reporting is part of your tasks, as is the derivation of suitable communication measures.

Your Profile

• You have completed training and several years of professional experience in the fields of communication, media, PR, or corporate communications.
• You bring sound experience in internal communication and in the field of social media and use common platforms and content management systems confidently.
• Your experience in media production and project management is complemented by an analytical, creative, and networked way of thinking.
• High communication and social competence characterize you as much as the joy of teamwork and active networking within the organization.
• An independent way of working, resilience, and the willingness to perform on-call and weekend duties round off your profile. In addition, you convince through a confident appearance and a clear, audience-appropriate way of expressing yourself.
