Around 1'000 students attend the Grauholz school in 50 classes in the contract municipalities of Urtenen-Schönbühl, Bäriswil and Mattstetten. Cycle 1 includes around 17 classes at all three locations, with a focus in Urtenen-Schönbühl. All school facilities are easily accessible by public transport. The school leadership team and the school secretariat are located at the Lee school facility in Urtenen-Schönbühl. The school leadership team includes the school leaders of the three cycles and a school leadership assistant in Cycle 2, the school leadership MR as well as the management of the day school. The team is led by the Head of Education. We consciously address heterogeneity. We value diversity and individuality and maintain the principle of care at the Grauholz school.

Tasks ###

You take over the pedagogical as well as the administrative-organizational leadership of Cycle 1 with around 17 classes and approximately 38 teachers. The introduction of a school leadership assistant in Cycle 1 for support is possible. Personnel management is your responsibility. At the same time, you will be relieved by the Head of Education in various higher-level areas, for example in: - the management of the ePM, - school development, - public relations, - tasks close to the municipality. Together with a dedicated, motivated and supportive school leadership team, you implement the goals and measures of the educational strategy as well as the school program.

Requirements ###

You - know the Bernese school system, - have a pedagogical education, - bring experience in school leadership, - have completed school leadership training or are prepared to complete it promptly, - like to initiate innovations and successfully accompany change processes, - work in a structured manner and maintain an overview even in demanding situations, - are interested in the education of the future, - convince through high social, leadership and communication competence, - are resilient as well as capable of criticism and conflict, - are committed to the concerns of children, parents and employees, - have good ICT user skills.
