To learn more about our institution, take a few minutes to consult our 2025 retrospective by clicking [here.](< >) Acting on behalf of the Hôpitaux universitaires des cantons de Vaud et Genève, the Centrale d'achats et d'ingénierie biomédicale (CAIB) ensures the purchase of all kinds of goods and services to guarantee optimum functioning of the hospitals under the best market conditions, in compliance with the rules and laws governing our institutions. In this framework, it coordinates all purchases and plans the acquisition and renewal files for heavy equipment. The CAIB has established partnerships with various regional hospitals and operates throughout Suisse Romande. IT Buyer -- 100% As a buyer, you centralize the various needs emanating from the hospital network and conduct the appropriate acquisition processes in compliance with public procurement rules. You are responsible for the development and deployment of the IT category procurement strategy within the hospital network. You are responsible for the management and control of the supplier panel for your category. In this capacity, you conduct calls for tender, collaborating with your internal clients, and intervene from the definition of the need up to the contracting with the supplier. You participate in the animation of the network of hospitals affiliated with the CAIB by sharing your procurement expertise and your knowledge of market trends. Qualifications You hold a higher education degree such as a Master HES or equivalent, preferably with a recognized Master in procurement. You possess a minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in procurement with initial confirmed experience in IT procurement. You perfectly master the French language (read, spoken and written) and have very good knowledge of English (C1 level). Excellent mastery and knowledge of IT tools are also required.
