Missions #####

• Ensure the management and control of current and specific accounting operations of the department, as well as the monitoring and justification of accounts
• Participate in accounting closings and year-end procedures, perform necessary adjustments and reconciliations, and prepare documents intended for management and control bodies
• Guarantee the quality of financial data by controlling imputations, invoices, and supporting documents, by identifying anomalies, and by ensuring their correction
• Produce the monitoring tables, analyses, and reporting necessary for managing the activity
• Manage accounting operations related to construction projects: preparation of purchase orders, processing of awards and invoices
• Ensure the financial monitoring of construction projects: budgets, commitments, costs, revenues, imputations, management of down payments, payments, and guarantees
• Participate in the year-end closings of construction projects, notably through the preparation of statements, progress reports, and adjustment entries
• Take charge of specific accounting or financial projects and collaborate with the various stakeholders concerned

Profile #####

• Federal certificate of capacity as a commercial employee or training deemed equivalent
• Federal diploma of accountant or title deemed equivalent, required
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar function
• Very good knowledge of public accounting and applicable standards and regulations (LCCOM, RCCOM)
• Experience in managing accounting and financial projects
• Very good mastery of Excel and ease with data analysis tools
• Experience with an ERP, ideally Abacus or SAP, as well as AbaProjet or a similar financial project management tool
• Knowledge of construction cost codes (CFC) and/or training in construction project cost management, an asset
• Excellent analytical skills, rigor, and organizational skills
• Ease in communication and collaboration with various stakeholders
