Kantonsschule Seetal in Baldegg operates a 6-year long-term gymnasium and a 4-year short-term gymnasium. Both educational courses lead to the federally recognized gymnasiale Maturität. Affiliated is the Fachmittelschule with the profiles Pedagogy and Music. The school is located in the greenery and is optimally accessible. It has an excellent school climate and a broad, innovative range of offers. Kantonsschule Seetal comprises approx. 450 learners and about 60 teachers.

And we remain in motion: With the retirement in the school management team, the Untergymnasium will receive its own management for the first time, and responsibilities will be redefined. You will contribute your ideas and help shape the change.

Your tasks

• As a member of the school management, you will take on the pedagogical and organizational leadership of 12 classes of the three lowest year groups in the long-term gymnasium (UG1, UG2 and LZG1) as well as the 1st year group of the short-term gymnasium (KZG1).
• You maintain contact with the feeder schools in the context of the transition and are the contact point for concerns of classes, parents and teachers.
• The class teachers of your levels will accompany you in their tasks, conduct employee appraisals and promote a shared pedagogical attitude.
• The planning and organization of parent evenings for your levels, the support courses as well as the current daily timetable and the special timetables are also part of your tasks.
• You are committed to offers and projects that make the community tangible, and you will continue to teach with a partial workload.

Your profile

• You have a university Master's degree as well as a teaching diploma for Maturitätsschulen and bring teaching experience at the gymnasium level. Secondary Level I and its pedagogical focus topics are familiar to you.
• Ideally, you have already completed school management training or are prepared to complete such training (e.g., CAS Schulleitung/Schulführung) over the course of the next two years.
• You enjoy dealing with people, especially with learners of Secondary Level I, their parents as well as with teachers, and communicate clearly, appreciatively and confidently.
• For you, it is part of your school management work to carry out assignments outside of regular teaching hours (e.g. parent evenings, conferences, school events etc.).
• We look forward to a team-oriented, proactive and empathetic leadership personality with a pedagogical attitude who initiates developments and supports them profitably.
