• Check entry and exit requirements of travelers at the Schengen border and decide on entry and exit in the first control line, taking legal bases into account
• Check travel documents regarding authenticity and belonging to the traveling person
• Control the maximum duration of stay; capture biometric data of travelers
• Query data from travel documents in search registers, interpret the results and initiate initial measures as well as work together with the second control line

What makes you unique

• Swiss citizenship, dual citizenship or settlement permit Type C
• Completed vocational training with EFZ
• Excellent character; communication skills and a well-groomed appearance
• Mastery of common Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and affinity for modern technologies
• Pragmatic way of working; ability to learn and adapt
• Readiness to work in uniform as well as great temporal flexibility (incl. Saturdays and Sundays)
• Very good knowledge of at least one official language, good oral English skills (at least recognized certificate level B1 mandatory)
