Expert for safety systems in the railway sector

You monitor and evaluate safety-relevant railway systems and carry out safety audits according to applicable standards. The position also includes technical consulting and project management in the field of railway safety.

Tasks

• Monitoring and evaluation of safety systems in the railway sector
• Carrying out safety audits and inspections according to applicable standards
• Preparation of expert reports and participation in certification processes
• Advising customers and internal teams on questions of railway safety
• Tracking and updating relevant standards and regulations
• Management of projects regarding deadlines, resources, activities, and budget

Profile

• University degree in electrical engineering, railway technology or equivalent training
• Proven experience in the field of safety systems in the railway industry
• Experience as an instructor in the railway industry is an advantage
• Good knowledge of applicable standards and regulations
• Analytical thinking skills and structured problem-solving
• Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Languages: French and/or German business fluent, English is an advantage
