Head of Purchasing & Logistics

Contribute

• Overall responsibility for economical, qualitative, and requirement-oriented purchasing
• Development and implementation of the purchasing and warehouse strategy as well as continuous optimization of processes
• Active procurement market research and further development of the product range
• Execution of public procurements (tenders)
• Building and further development of the supplier portfolio, including negotiations, contract design, and supplier assessment
• Leadership of the team as well as leadership of the material commission and participation in cross-departmental projects

Requirements

• Sound business administration training with a focus on purchasing (Purchaser with federal certificate of proficiency or higher vocational training)
• Specialist and leadership experience, if possible in healthcare
• Good knowledge of public procurement
• Negotiation skills and economic thinking
• Structured, independent way of working
• Strong communication skills and pronounced social competence
• Good MS Office and ERP user knowledge (advantageously Opale)
