As Chief Investment Officer (CIO) / Head of Investment Center, you will play a key role in the strategic development of our investment activity. With your understanding of leadership, your expertise in capital markets, and your clear vision, you will continuously develop our investment competence and sustainably strengthen our position. You will lead our Investment Center at the Zurich site with four teams and approximately 50 employees, and shape the future of our investment activity. Chief Investment Officer (CIO) / Head of Investment Center 80 - 100% # What you will accomplish • Shape the investment philosophy of SGKB and define the strategic direction of our investment activity. • Responsibility for our bank's investment policy as well as its implementation in wealth management mandates and investment funds. In this role, you chair the internal investment committee of the bank and determine the investment process. • Strategic development of our investment activity with the aim of sustainably strengthening and expanding SGKB's position as the investment bank of Eastern Switzerland. • Responsibility for communicating our market assessments and investment positioning internally to sales units and externally to clients as well as the media. With solid assessments and a clear opinion on capital markets, you strengthen confidence in SGKB as a competent partner in all investment matters. • Leading and inspiring experienced executives as well as highly qualified investment experts. With your understanding of leadership, you foster excellence, innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement. You thus create the framework conditions for a high-performing investment organization. • You actively participate in strategic development and are a central exchange partner for the executive board on all matters relating to capital markets, investment strategy, and investment competence. What you bring • University degree in business administration, economics, or finance as well as recognized advanced training such as CFA, AZEK, MBA, or a comparable qualification. • Long-standing experience in management and leadership in a demanding investment function with responsibility for investment strategy, asset management, or investment advisory in a bank, an asset manager, or an institutional investment organization. • Deep expertise in the successful development and implementation of investment strategies as well as a thorough understanding of global capital markets, macroeconomic relationships, and all relevant asset classes. • Long-standing and successful performance responsibility for large private and institutional wealth management mandates. • Entrepreneurial leadership personality with a strategic vision, an inspiring leadership style, and a convincing track record in developing organizations, executives, and employees. • Confident presence as well as the ability to communicate complex capital market-related topics in an appropriate and convincing manner to clients, the media, internal stakeholders, and other stakeholders. • Authentic personality with great credibility, a strong client orientation, and the ambition to sustainably develop SGKB's investment competence and actively shape the future of Eastern Switzerland's investment bank.
