Equipment Designer Turbines

You design tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment for the production of turbines and generator rotors and accompany them from the idea to production use.

Tasks

• Responsible for the design and construction of special tools, measuring equipment, and fixtures
• Ensure timely provision of equipment from internal production or from partners
• Define and improve tool, measuring, and manufacturing concepts with production and engineering
• Develop machining strategies, calculate cutting data, maintain tool lists and master data
• Coordinate procurement: offers, cost comparisons, checking technical drawings
• Monitor process performance, tool consumption, and costs and initiate improvements

Profile

• Technical training in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or industrial engineering, e.g., HF or equivalent experience
• Experience in the design of production tools, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge in machining, tool concepts, and measuring strategies
• User knowledge in SAP and TDM or a comparable system
• Fluent German and good English, oral and written
