In this function, you will support the growth of Bioconjugates through the establishment and management of a new production line. You will be responsible for the overall production results in terms of quality, quantity, safety, and will be a member of the PCP Manufacturing Leadership Team. Our complete list of local benefits can be found here: Benefits in Visp: https://bit.ly/3wjkoFi Your tasks: Building and leading a team of Bioprocess Engineers (chemists, biologists), Team Leads Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Specialists Responsibility for the execution of all production campaigns on their line in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental protection guidelines Responsibility for all personnel matters such as qualification, development, coaching, new hires, salary, and disciplinary matters Member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team Expert and point of contact for all questions related to production planning (S&OP Process), technical evaluations, and feasibility studies Ensuring and further developing regular performance and results controls, such as Weekly Reports, Dashboard, Hoshin Board, and other reports Project leader or member in CAPEX projects Your profile: Bachelor or Master in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields Several years of professional experience in chemical or biotechnological production, preferably in leadership positions, MSAT, Engineering, or similar Very good English and good German language skills Comprehensive GMP knowledge Clear and persuasive communication with the ability to interact with all different contacts within the organization Good understanding of financial and HR processes and topics About Lonza At Lonza, our employees are our greatest strength.
