Bern | 80-100% This is what you can contribute <br /> • Lead the area of dual citizens and state treaties in organizational, technical and administrative terms, as well as monitor the work of district commanders and Swiss representations abroad and intervene correctively if necessary • Examine exemption, complaint and re-admission cases according to the Military Act, make decisions and issue corresponding orders, and ensure their implementation • Check the applicability of international agreements, analyze submitted documents and obtain additional information or documents if necessary • Draft statements and opinions in complaint cases, and provide internal and external authorities with legal information on the correct application of legal requirements • Examine applications for the issuance of certificates and create certificates on military status and fulfillment of military service obligations as provided for in international agreements • Participate in the development and adaptation of international agreements on the military service of dual citizens and ensure their consistent implementation in the relevant legal bases <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Higher vocational training or equivalent education in the commercial sector with experience in administrative law and procedures • Knowledge of military law and the militia system as well as experience in (military) administration desired • Leadership experience, negotiating skills and assertiveness • Independent working method, reliable personality and team skills • Military training, ideally higher/non-commissioned officer or officer of the Swiss Army, is an advantage • Oral and written knowledge of a second official language <br /> In brief The Army's Personnel (Pers A) accompanies army members from recruitment to discharge from military service.
