Then I have something exciting for you: Our partner - a production company in the construction materials sector, which has recently emerged from a group structure and is now completely rebuilding its engineering department - is looking for a Junior Project Manager Engineering in Thurgau Junior Project Manager Engineering About the position As Junior Project Manager Engineering, you will independently co-lead, coordinate and implement technical new and renovation projects as well as process optimizations directly at the production site in Istighofen. Your tasks Technical project management from A to Z: You will be responsible for new and renovation projects of plants, systems or assemblies at the Istighofen site from the first idea through tendering and realization to the final acceptance check in terms of performance, quality, deadlines and budget. Process optimization in production: You will analyze the existing production and business processes on site and develop concrete measures to increase plant availability, energy efficiency and product quality. Plant digitization: You will work closely with the Data Engineer to technically connect the production plants, set up data streams for monitoring and establish digital controls. Maintenance and infrastructure: You will support the operations manager organizationally in the maintenance of the workshop and technical infrastructure, and help ensure workplace safety in the operation. Presenting results and picking up teams: You will prepare project steps and technical changes in a understandable way, present them to the operations management and workshop teams, and directly involve the operational employees on site in the innovations. Bridge builder qualities: You possess the empathy to pick up the factory employees in simple language and take them with you. You are emotionally resilient and understand that change proposals in production can initially be perceived as criticism. Engineering degree: Completed degree (ETH/FH) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy technology or another engineering field. First practice: First experience in a production environment is an advantage, whether through an internship, a project or training. Language: Fluent High German. Nice-to-have Car & driver's license: Advantageous for the commute, as the location is not optimally connected. Project methodology: First contact with the logic of the Stage-Gate process. Experience in producing SMEs: First experience in leading technical projects in a producing SME.
