for our Finance and Taxes team (Location & Politics)

As the voice of business, we advocate for the concerns of companies in the Basel region. With our Location & Politics department, we represent the interests of our members towards politics, administration, and society. Finance and taxes are an important location factor – for companies already active here in the Basel region, as well as for companies that wish to settle with us.

Your tasks:

• You research and write fundamentals, consultations, factsheets, motions, and web texts for various dialogue groups
• You organize and conduct an event on financial and tax policy topics
• You gain an overview of the economically relevant political developments in the Basel region and prepare them in a way that is appropriate for the target group
• You support the department head in diverse day-to-day business
• You proactively contribute your fundamental work to the team and in the work with our specialist commissions

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree
• You bring political understanding, enjoy researching numbers and facts, and enjoy preparing them in a way that is appropriate for the target group
• You work precisely, with concentration, and with an awareness of quality
• You are conscientious, independent, and enjoy learning new things
• You have good oral and written German skills; French and English skills are an advantage
