Postdoctoral position at PASU lab 1 Mission The Policy & Sustainability (PASU) lab at EPFL conducts applied and theoretical research on the economics and politics of sustainable development, as well as the policies to achieve it. More information at: [ ](< >). We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join our team to work on a new SNSF-funded project on Managing a Just Transition to Net Zero. This project aims (1) to measure economic/job vulnerabilities to the clean energy transition at the individual and regional level (drawing on labor market surveys and LLM), (2) to collect original survey data on individual-level policy preferences in response to the negative effects of decarbonization, and (3) to conduct quantitative impact assessments of "˜just transition' policies implemented around the world. Main duties and responsibilities * Co-oversee the implementation of the project with the PI. * Take the lead on work packages related to the candidate's expertise. * Mentor PhD students involved in the project.
