The Federal Office for Civil Protection FOCP is the nationally recognized coordination office for civil protection between federal offices, cantons, and third parties. It ensures fundamentals and coordination, particularly in the areas of risk analysis, warning and alerting, training, telematics and protection infrastructure as well as disaster medicine, CBRN protection and disarmament. Together with the cantons as well as other national and international partners, it possesses capabilities, current technologies, and infrastructures for managing disasters and emergencies.
