The acute wards G1 and G2 treat older people in psychiatric crisis situations with the goal of stabilization and holistic support, taking into account psychological, somatic, and social factors. The offer includes differentiated diagnostics as well as psychiatric, psychotherapeutic, and nursing interventions. Additionally, qualified withdrawal treatments and social-psychiatric measures are used as needed. After the acute phase, an internal transfer to ward G3 for psychotherapy and rehabilitation in old age can take place. The basis of the treatment is close interprofessional collaboration within the focus and with external institutions.
