For a well-established Swiss industrial SME in the canton of Fribourg, I am currently looking for a

INDUSTRIAL PURCHASING SPECIALIST FR/DE – 100% (M/F/D)

Your responsibilities will notably include:

– analyzing internal needs and managing supplier inquiries
– negotiating prices, commercial conditions, and contractual agreements
– identifying, qualifying, and developing new partners
– monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strategic relationships
– analyzing markets, price developments, and optimization levers
– intervening in quality issues and supplier discrepancies
– contributing to cost control and the reliability of supplies
– working in direct connection with several company departments
What I am looking for above all:

A person who truly knows the industrial environment.

You have several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in a field related to mechanics, metal, machining, or a comparable technical industry.

You are comfortable in negotiation, capable of analyzing a situation quickly, and pragmatic enough to find solutions when things do not go exactly as planned.

A commercial, technical, or specialized training in purchasing constitutes an excellent foundation.

And above all:

Fluent French + German or Swiss German at a very good level

The ability to evolve naturally in these two linguistic environments is essential for this role.
