Professional trainers support the apprentices on their way to the apprenticeship certificate. Job description ## As a surface coater EFZ, you will process surfaces using galvanic and other methods. You will follow the customer's specifications and also take on organizational and planning tasks. You will inspect the customer's workpiece, determine the material it is made of, and assess the surface structure. Depending on the customer's wishes, you will blast the parts with sand, grind them, or polish them to a high gloss. Then you will prepare the refinement and determine the pre-treatment, current strength, refinement time, etc. You will dip the workpieces into a solution consisting of various chemicals and zinc, chrome, silver, or gold plate them. In addition, you will regularly check the temperature, pH value, and density of the bath with special measuring devices.
