The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts and pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
What you can achieve:
Leadership and further development of the team of specialists in commercial order processing and shipping
Responsibility for the timely order processing (Sales Order Processing) from order receipt through shipping planning and coordination to invoicing
Coordination and handling of all export and transport tasks to all countries supplied by Hamilton Bonaduz AG, including the creation and maintenance of the required export and customs documentation
Optimization and further development of the organization, processes, guidelines, and work instructions in the commercial order processing process to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Analysis and reporting of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
Close cooperation with internal interfaces (Sales, Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering) to ensure a smooth value chain
Contact person for national and international customers regarding delivery status, export questions, and service requests
What you bring with you:
Commercial training or technical basic training with commercial further training
Professional experience in international transport (import-export), foreign trade, and customs topics is an advantage
Several years of leadership experience in the area of order processing, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in an industrial or technical environment
Professional handling of ERP systems Microsoft D365 or SAP for order processing and Microsoft Office tools
Analytical and process-oriented thinking
Proactive and service-oriented personality with joy in contacting customers
Independent, goal-oriented, implementation-strong, and assertive personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Business fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
