starting in 2027

As a Project Manager Interior Architecture, you will design and realize demanding interior spaces from the initial idea to implementation. In doing so, you combine user-centered planning, design quality, and professional project management and securely coordinate the various participants through all planning phases.

YOUR Tasks

Needs Assessment: (Supporting role)

• Organization & assisting workshops
• Creation of documents for user-centered participation processes (questionnaires, preparation of interviews, etc.)
• Synthesis of needs analysis: Documentation of needs assessment, summary & prioritization of needs of all surveyed users.
• Definition of overarching goals.

Strategic Planning: (Supporting role)

• Establishing project framework conditions.
• Translation of user needs into spatial context.
• Definition & explanation of usage typologies
• Creation of user-specific space programs
• Development of initial spatial scenarios (usage concepts, zone plans, floor plan studies)

Pre-project to execution: (Leading role Planning & Project Management)

As Project Manager Interior Architecture, you will carry out projects independently from the design phase to realization. You control and coordinate all project participants and are responsible for quality, costs, deadlines, as well as the planning of internal hour resources within the project team. Your tasks include:

• Development of interior architectural design concepts: color, material, furniture, and lighting concepts
• Detailing of pre-project, elaboration and coordination of the construction project including specialist planners
• Construction cost calculation & scheduling
• Coordination with specialist planners, authorities and other project participants
• Creation of tender documents (bills of quantities & plans), requesting and checking offers, awarding
• Sampling of color, material and furniture concepts
• Execution planning: Detailed planning of all works with a focus on interior construction including Korrex & approval of working drawings
• Planning & management of construction phase (in cooperation with the site manager)
• Quality, deadline & cost control during the construction phase
• Main contact person for the client for overall project management and interior architecture
• Presentation & meetings
• Preparation of CAD plans (2D and 3D), floor plans and visualizations

The integration of user-centered needs into the design is central for Raumreaktion; The project management continuously reviews in every phase whether the formulated goals are being met by continuously comparing needs, design, and implementation measures. YOUR Profile

Professional qualification:

• Completed studies in interior architecture (Bachelor or Master) or comparable training
• At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of interior projects

Personal skills:

• Independent, proactive and structured working style
• Team player and enjoyment of collaborative work
• High communication competence & organizational ability
• Experimental, curious
• Enjoyment of aesthetics, materials and colors
• Sincere and empathetic

Technical skills:

• Sound knowledge of relevant CAD and visualization programs (Vectorworks)
• Proficient use of Adobe Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) & common MS Office programs
• Interest in AI Tools, Agents & other planning programs
