What you can achieve:

• Independent performance of routine analytics for FFA, POZ, SFC, NIR, refractive index, water content, induction time, drop/rising melting point, iodine/anisidine value, Dobi value, color measurement, antioxidant detection, fatty acid spectrum, 3-MCPD, glycidol and MOSH/MOAH for animal and vegetable fats and oils, various special products and collagen
• Documentation and deviation management
• Co-responsibility for the maintenance and calibration of analytical devices and testing equipment
• Internal and external stakeholder communication
• Depending on suitability and need: project participation in new analytical methods, digitalization and process optimization
• Collaboration in the sensory laboratory

What you bring with you:

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician (or equivalent) and several years of laboratory experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with GC-FID as well as in analytics is an advantage
• Willingness for 2-shift work (4:00-12:30 or 12:00-20:30) and one Saturday shift per month
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Good MS-Office skills, LIMS-/iQSoft-/Improve-knowledge is an advantage
• Exact, independent way of working
• You are open-minded, communicative, decisive, and a team player
