The Recycling & Disposal department processes residual materials from our own chemical production as well as from external partners. In connection with the strategic expansion of production capacities, the existing special waste recovery plant (SAVA) is being constantly modernized and additionally a new flue gas recovery plant (AVA) is being commissioned.

Your responsibility

• Project management: Planning and leading annual revisions as well as conversion/optimization projects while complying with costs, deadlines, quality and safety
• Technical support of the plants and ensuring plant availability
• Process engineering designs, processing of R&I diagrams, procurement of technical equipment and assembly services, performing commissioning and handovers to operations
• Optimization of processes: Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, efficiency increase
• Creation and management of maintenance and repair concepts for operations incl. consistent documentation
• Participation in investment planning

Your profile

• Academic or higher technical or scientific education (Chemistry/Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, Mechanical Engineer)
• Operational experience in (special) waste recovery, recycling and steam generation (incineration plants, KVA, district heating)
• Proven experience in project work incl. conversion and commissioning of process engineering processes
• Strong analytical skills (troubleshooting, root cause analysis)
• Enthusiastic, motivating personality, solution-oriented, capable of compromise
• Business fluent in German (written and oral)
