At the beginning of the school year 2027/28 (1 August 2027) or by arrangement, we are looking for a Prorektorin / Prorektor Grundbildung

Your tasks
In this versatile function, you bear responsibility for organizational, personnel, and pedagogical areas and actively participate in the further development of our school:

• Organization and ensuring smooth school operations including responsibility for disciplinary matters
• Support and guidance of teaching staff as well as contact person for pedagogical and organizational concerns
• Planning and coordination of substitute assignments
• Leading and participating in school and quality development projects
• Teaching activity (small workload) in a vocational subject of a commercial profession
• Coordination and maintenance of cooperation with professional associations and inter-company courses
• Active participation in the school management team of the GBW, including representing the Gewerbliches Bildungszentrum Weinfelden internally and externally as well as maintaining relevant networks

Your profile

• Teaching qualification as a full-time teacher of vocational subjects in a commercial profession
• Completed training as a school leader (EDK) or the willingness to complete it
• Willingness to take on responsibility and to commit oneself beyond the usual
• Enjoyment of organizational, pedagogical, and didactic challenges
• Experience in teaching as well as in leading employees or teams
• Pronounced digital competence, confident handling of school IT systems and learning platforms, as well as openness to digital developments and active co-design of digital processes in everyday school life
• Joy of innovation, patience, negotiation skills, assertiveness, and pronounced leadership competencies
• Loyalty, team spirit, and enjoyment of working in a large organization
