Portfolio Manager Real Estate

This is your contribution

• Responsible for the strategy, profitability and sustainable development of the assigned real estate portfolio and aligning real estate use for the long term
• Contribute to the real estate strategy of the civil Federal Administration, define strategic specifications for projects and develop sustainable and demand-oriented solution variants
• Plan and control project credits for the respective portfolio, assess credit applications, ensure financing and initialize strategic projects and the maintenance program
• Advise departments and offices on strategic issues in German and French, assess their needs, conduct negotiations and prepare decision-making bases for the responsible bodies
• Communicate decisions of the BBL and ensure their consistent implementation, as well as represent the interests of the BBL towards internal and external partners at a strategic level

What makes you unique

• University degree or comparable higher education, preferably in real estate management, architecture, construction, business administration or a related field
• Several years of experience in strategic real estate, portfolio or project management as well as proven experience in managing complex projects and in collaborating with different stakeholders
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, high business competence and the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships and develop sustainable solutions
• Negotiation-secure and convincing appearance, high advisory competence and the ability to bring different interests together and represent decisions confidently even in demanding situations
• Very good knowledge of two official languages; knowledge of a third is an advantage
