Your tasks

• Initiate, design and lead projects aimed at promoting gender equality
• Shape and develop the projects « Entreprise Égalité » and

« Werkplatz Égalité »

• Support the Office in the implementation of its projects in the two linguistic regions of the canton of Berne
• Processing of files coming from political circles, administration and the general public
• Participation in the work of different bodies and working groups

Your profile

• You hold a master's degree, preferably in humanities, social or political sciences.
• You have several years of professional and project management experience.
• You have acquired proven specialized knowledge in the matter of equality.
• You are bilingual (French-German or you have French as your mother tongue and possess excellent knowledge of German, level C2).
• Ideally, you have already taken your first steps in the field of administration.

The Office for Gender Equality (BEFH), attached to the State Chancellery, promotes actual equality in all areas of life and is committed to the elimination of gender-related discrimination. It supports the canton in the implementation of equality, initiates measures and projects, and provides advisory services to the population. The State Chancellery is a versatile service provider at the interface between politics, administration and the public. Staff of the Executive Council, it ensures the liaison with the Grand Council. In this capacity, it plans, supports and coordinates the activities of these authorities and provides numerous services to the administration and the population.
